FAQs: frequently asked questions

We are receiving many requests for more languages, and we are grateful for this global interest. Expanding Neopedia is one of our long-term goals, but it takes time and resources.

If you are part of a parent and patient organization within the GFCNI network, we can explore the possibility of translating Neopedia into your language together.

The next languages (coming in 2026) are Portuguese, Turkish, Greek, and Japanese.

Follow the GFCNI social media channels to be notified about new languages: InstagramFacebookLinkedInX

That means either there is currently no parent or patient organization in your country, or an organization exists but is not part of the GFCNI network.

All listed organizations are partners of GFCNI. They are national organizations, registered NGOs or can prove otherwise that they are active. Having a support group either in person or online with a reliable contact person is required as well as a clear vision of their mission. If your organization is interested in joining our network, please feel free to contact us at network(at)gfcni.org for more information.

Setting up a parent and patient organization can have a big impact. While GFCNI does not offer funding, we may be able to provide some information on how to get started if you contact us at network(at)gfcni.org.

There are many ways to help Neopedia grow:

Spread the word: Share the platform with families, hospitals, or groups who may benefit.

Healthcare professionals: Display Neopedia materials in waiting areas or tell your patients and colleagues.

Share your story: If you have experienced NICU life and would like to contribute to our “Shared experiences: stories from our community” section, email us at info@gfcni.org with “Neopedia Shared Stories” in the subject for more information.

Translation help: We are currently working with member organizations to coordinate translations. Individual offers are appreciated, though we may not always be able to follow up directly.

We welcome your feedback! You can reach us at info@gfcni.org. Please add “Neopedia feedback” in the subject line.
